Return the Sort By filter to Marketplace Stores.

Currently with the new (7/9/2025) update to the marketplace.secondlife.com website, the overhaul of the "Sort By" and "Content Per Page" dropdown menus were added. Along with this addition was the removal of the "Sort By" dropdown menu for store pages.
As you can see with the image provided, normally between the store's banner picture and their products there would be a "Sort By" dropdown menu.
This was a pretty important feature for both Creators and Users alike. It allowed a way to properly browse a store, whether that'd be by price, release date, name, rating, or best selling. Every sort had it's own use.
This effects creators for a similar reason, since customers are unable to properly sort. That does matter in sales.
This feedback post is for the return of the sort by dropdown menu when visiting a store's marketplace page. It is a crucial feature for Second Life Marketplace.
Thank you.

We deployed a hotfix late in the workday yesterday, and this issue should now be resolved.

This should probably be marked as fixed.
Thank you!

Hello,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention! I have confirmed that this change was unintentional, and have forwarded this on to our development team for a fix.
While I cannot provide any sort of ETA on when a resolution will occur, we are treating the issue with the attention it deserves.

Sort by Filter Missing From Marketplace Stores
Aimee Sellers
As of 7/8/25, the Sort By Filter option (Age, Rating, Price, Best Selling, etc) is missing once you "enter" a marketplace store. The filter is present when searching the entire marketplace, or marketplace categories, but not once you enter a store. There is a similar thread under "Feature Requests"... but as this is a bug, created during your 7/8/25 update to the website, I am posting it here as well.
Pictures posted of the feature missing on a store page, and present on a general marketplace page.

Search Filters Missing on Individual Store Pages
Promagic Resident
The regular filters that were available before, for example, Sort by: Relevance/ price/Old to new / New to Old , are now missing on every store's page. For example my store's page : https://marketplace.secondlife.com/en-US/stores/79355

I noticed that the marketplace doesn't have a "sort by" feature. When I open the marketplace, the "sort by" is an important and necessary feature. I want to open my marketplace and see what the best-selling items are, but I can't do that right now, so I'm in trouble. I would like to see this feature brought back.

Smooth Sim Crossings? Forgotten.
Grid-Wide Experiences? Shoved down the memory hole.
Vulkan rendering? New phone, who dis?
Simulators still running 32-Bit Codebase? This seems fine.
Second Life has a lot of issues. Some persistent issues. Some issues two-decades old. Do those get fixed? Nope. Do the features that were excitedly announced and then memory-holed get implemented? Nope. Do essentially finished features get rolled out? Not enough development staff to do so.
Oh but we have infinite time and infinite budget to degrade the user experience and engage in platform enshitification. Why was this done? What benefit does removing "sort by" give us? Surely that wasn't a massive resource drain, an attack surface, or the source of a bug.
There's no good reason to remove this feature, a feature used regularly by shoppers on the Marketplace to help narrow down what they are looking for. I guess the "sort by" button couldn't be monetized, so it had to go.

Why..?
Why?
Just.. why.
I thought it was a bug - what a ridiculous """QOL""" adjustment.
Aimee Sellers
Viper Panthar Aside from LL merging the separate posts about this issue into one, have they said anything about this being broken? I can't imagine this was an intentional F-Up. I mean... there are a lot of things that they do intentionally I don't agree with, but I have to think this was a "boo-boo" when they changed how the sort feature looked... which... did not need to be changed. It's the old... "not broken... don't fix it" rule.
Viper Panthar
Aimee Sellers I wanted to hope it was just broken - but their track record of late has been "adjust and introduce things that no one asked to be adjusted or introduced".
Faith in them is hard to come by.
Kinda Vile
At this point any change like this is no longer surprising to me. Words cannot describe how disillusioned I feel with the platform as they continue to make changes that poke at things that make zero sense. Every update seems to come with massive problems, and updates that people want get put behind.
I just wonder what kind of implementation hell working at LL is at this point. Do they even /have/ a development methodology or is this just bedroom programming with a hint of planning?

Words fail me. Of all the changes that could have been made to improve the user experience you chose to do this? Dishonor on you! Dishonor on your family! Dishonor on your cow!
