PBR texture stretches when "stretch textures" is unchecked

Expected behavior is that whenever you resize the mesh, and uncheck the "stretch textures", the texture will be tiled. In this case I'm using the same mesh so the behavior should be the same regarding the direction to which the texture becomes tileable.
Same mesh: on the left just BP textures, and on the right only PBR materials applied:
