Add Response Time or Line Count Delay Option for Messages Sent to Characters
AlphaStud Resident
I think it would be nice if we could specify a timeframe (for example: 3, 5, 10 seconds) or a chat line count delay (for example: 3, 5, 10 messages) in the AI Character Designer settings, so that chat messages could be stacked or grouped in bulk and then sent to the AI Characters.
This would basically simulate a delayed response of all that was discussed within the timeframe, to help give room for ourselves/others (in the future) to contribute more than one line at a time to a conversation before the character responds, as well as make the interactions more realistic.
The current format operates on a per message basis usually, which can be too fast and spammy.

Daya Vyper Hm... I'm not sure if we're on the same page, Daya. Can you please elaborate?
Daya Vyper
AlphaStud Resident You do know you can use the backstory feature box to lay out certain "rules" for the Ai to follow right?
AlphaStud Resident
Daya Vyper Yes, my backstory is up to the 10,000 character limit. Defining what I'm saying in there wouldn't resolve it, which is why I'm asking what your interpretation of my suggestion is (so I can explain it better, if needed)?
The AI Characters don't always follow the rules. If you're thinking I could ask mine to wait a certain timeframe before responding to a set of messages, it's possible that could work, but unreliable. LL can stack text by a timeframe or line count as I mentioned on their end before submitting the data to Convai for the character.

AlphaStud Resident YMMV for me its been successful. :)
