Many people think that updating to the latest Firestorm viewer means they’re seeing PBR Windlight, but it still defaults to the Legacy version unless it's changed in the environment settings. Most users don’t realise this, let alone know how to change it. So they end up stuck with the legacy windlight.
This causes issues like the blue tint, especially glass and leather sofas. I experienced this myself when I first installed a pbr viewer thinking my graphics card was the problem.
Could I please suggest setting Midday PBR as the default in the latest PBR viewers? That way, when it's first installed, people are automatically set to the Midday preset (not Midday Legacy).
The reason why I care so deeply about this issue, is because of how my glass products look with a Legacy Windlight compared to PBR: https://gyazo.com/0b42629f122dd2c14b2cc2def5a7d6bc
I’ve also created a Windlight pack that looks good on both PBR and Legacy viewers, so my customers can apply it to their land. But this only works if visitors know how to use shared environment lighting, which, surprisingly, many still don’t.
