I think it would be useful to be able to set particle effects on an object from client side script such that only that client saw the effect. This would be useful in game type experiences where an objective needs to be highlighted to the user

Other than the proposed uses for this, I can imagine it being useful to effectively 'draw on the screen' to check if my 3D math is right without annoying people in-world with my particle spam.

Since particles are entirely viewer side anyhow… This could work just as well from LSL, too.
