It would be nice to use mobile messaging without loading into the game or a way to show offline. Chatting like you do with instant messages, ig chats, imvu chats etc.

Merged in a post from Nyx Onyx:
Title: Option to log in the mobile app without inworld presence as a companion app
Details: I'd like to be able to use the mobile app alternatively as a companion app to another logged in viewer. This would let you for example handle inventory (maybe? I don't know if and how the sim server is involved here), group chats, adhoc chats and IM:s on a mobile or tablet device, this while being away from the other device or when the screen is cluttered and it is easier to chat via another device.
Additionally, as it would let you log in without having an avatar presence inworld, it could also double as a text-only login that let you save on battery and data usage while letting you stay in touch with people inworld. In this case, independent of whether you have another viewer logged in on another device at the same time or not.
The UI changes in the app should merely be a switch on the login screen, and disabling or hiding of features that require avatar inworld presence.
Thank you!

then use a textviewer so you dont need to load all the 3d world. Or make your email options correct that you recive messages when you are offline.
I think its useless when im offline then im offline then i dont want to read something from sl. Or do you record everything around you in real life when you are sleeping? thats the same then
