Tiny empire bots clogging up popular waterways on the grid https://gyazo.com/567462760493e7b284718f0432c10138
this is a twice weekly occurrence covering most of the grids water sims with numbers from 12 to 17 bots each sim , quite a few cruises run through these regions and it stops legitimate entry for sailors taking part in said cruises . these bots are there on average 30 mins to 2 hours

So I took a look at the Tiny Empires home page, and their Standings page tells ... quite the story.
This particular fork of the tree is very much a bot swarm, look at the names:
and then I get down a bit further, and ... there's this:
Note that the video's very wide: i was viewing the page on an ultrawide monitor 5120x1440 and not only did I need to scroll down, i had to pan to the right to expand the entire branch of the TE tree.
This is out of control.

When I look at the world map right now, all of the blake sea is green with bot rings, with several clusters all the way up to Gaeta V. And a bunchn in Sansara and Corsica water areas.
Whoever made that TinyEmpires HUD really found a clever way to DDoS the regions by weaponising some gullible fools to do their job for them in the guise of a game.

update 15/01/2026 10.19 am slt
so today we have huge numbers of the bots again , 18 in two regions
This is just a small sample , the whole mainland grid is covered in them , its getting beyond a joke
Paul Hexem
We have an abuse report function for this- abuse of region resources. LL really needs to get off their ass and get on this.

Paul Hexem where did I put the emoji for this ...

They do this in Tiny Empires because the top 10 Kingdoms and Queendoms are hell bent on keeping their status. Quite frankly the game these days is a joke, I enjoyed this many years ago and met many nice people through this game that I still know today 18 years later. I left after it became of game of cheats who started creating up to 100 avatars each to keep their lines huge and active and to keep their realm at that top. More people dropped off over the years until this game has pretty much become obsolete, in a fair game play capacity. The very people that stay are the same people at the top of their realm and the only people they now play and converse with are their own bots, there are no real people in this place anymore. The emperor himself is not going to change the rules because he still makes money on this mess. You would be surprised the number of players that are still playing whom will purchase all these huds for their bots just to keep at the top of the Empire. It could be closed down, but the Lindens have no reason to do so, if they use up more bandwidth in a region and ends up costing the Lindens more money to run it, they only pass on those costs to the real people (me and you) by raising the prices of everything else. If it starts to really affect people trying to do things they enjoy by clogging up regions and causing lag etc, especially around Linden Home areas that we pay membership for the privilege of having a membership and the perks that come with it, including homes and land, and memberships start to drop drastically, because of this issue not being addressed and costs being pushed elsewhere because of it not being addressed, then maybe just then, will the Lindens actually step in. Tiny Empires after all does not support the Second Life grid and the whole existence of Second Life financially

Dakota Noelle Sounds as if this is Yet Another Recruit Your Friends 'game' (let's not kid ourselves, it's gamefied Amway) that a few people figured out how to automate it with alt accounts that they could then script to 'play'. The fact that these scripted 'alts' are becoming a public nuisance is enough reason to shut the game down.

Seems like a Linden Labs ploy to test the patience of residents with how much inconvenience they'll put up with before dumping their holdings.

No further comment to add, other than "I agree they are a nuisance." Don't understand why LL thinks it's okay, considering they're using land they aren't paying for.

Yeah. It tends to be a major nuisance when someone plops their bot-group in the middle of a protected waterway one needs to go through to progress to the other side for their travels.
I would be happy to see them gone too. They do not contribute to the community in any perceivable way (other than draw the ire of the entire community), which is usually the objective of trolls and griefers.
As I understood, these Tiny Empires people fill these sims to the brim to make sure they can block a "rival faction" from trying to "reclaim" the region for themselves, which disrupts SL for EVERYONE.
"This hud-based minigame" is essentially a tool to dupe people into unwittingly launching a denial of service attack on SL region servers.

Need to get rid of these bots soon.

They're at it again, hampering travel throughout the Western Nautilus waterways. Interferes directly with water and air navigation, and seem fixated on Angel's Airport and Marina E1 (Mindio) this past week or so. Noted a single sim swarm in the northernmost Blake Sea area east of Angel's E2 (Quietly Red).
I find myself unable to do many of the things I like in SL as a result. I did a report, though past experience tells me that isn't going to change anything. This is becoming a near daily occurrence and is ruining the SL experience for me rather quickly.

Jana Amethyst Using the name on the nametag shown in the second image (KieferAsQuintus) and the lookup tool on the Tiny Empires website the person benefiting from and possibly running those particular bots is Lark Karillion.
