if I go to ban a person from a group, the viewer will free when I click okay, then will silently crash to desktop.
  1. Go to a group, and select Roles & Members, then Banned.
  2. Click "Ban Resident(s)," then choose a name via the Resident chooser.
  3. Click the "ok" button
This will cause the crash. Additionally, the Resident one may be banning does not end up on the ban list.
