I’m dealing with an ongoing issue involving the bot account ChristophNaumova33.

This account is already blocked on my end, yet I’m still receiving around 40 spam entries per day. Even though the block is working in the sense that I don’t see the actual messages, the attempts are still being logged in my conversation history every time it tries to contact or include me in ad-hoc conference chats.

To be clear:

The account is blocked

The spam attempts are still happening daily

My chat logs are being flooded with entries from these blocked attempts

There also seems to be a loophole where blocked avatars can still try to include me in group or conference chats. While the messages themselves don’t come through, each attempt is still recorded in my logs. This is now creating a constant stream of spam entries, which is interfering with how I use my chat logs for Second Life business.

Yes, I have been reporting this to Linden Lab daily, however the account is still active and continues the same behaviour without interruption.

This has become repetitive and time-consuming, as I’m having to manually delete these log entries every day just to keep things usable.

Just flagging this in case others are experiencing the same thing or if there’s a known fix/workaround, because blocking alone doesn’t appear to stop the log spam even when it stops the messages themselves. This thing is toxic i seen one message and its one of those bots that uses racial slurs and disgusting wording. Threatens and continues.

I really can't believe how my block list has been working for 18 years now and just today went to zero entries from one login to the next. I also can't believe that this entry here has only 30 (31 now with mine) votes - which probably means this isn't going to be fixed any time soon :( Sad sad....

Can't we simply store those things locally, so there could be a chance to just restore it from a backup?

I am seriously considering leaving Secondlife due the copious amount of money i have spent in game on SL. Yet the performance is absolutely below standard. I am not happy with Firestorm or Secondlife at the moment. My friends and i will be leaving soon as we all can because our money can be better spent on other games not on this Substandard Secondlife and Firestorm Server

This is also happening to me. I had a pretty massive block list for good reason and it's all gone now. Keeps resetting every time I log off. Why is this happening and why has it not been fixed yet? This is a huge security issue.
