Certain unicode characters do not show in chat or hover text in v7 viewers, but do in v6 viewers.

I recently upgraded Firestorm from v6, noticed certain unicode characters in chat and hover text exhibit the bug, installed LL's viewer, saw the same issue.
I was told by Monty Linden in the last server meeting to file a bug report for the viewer to get a font pack update.
Here are a few out of many problem characters:
[2025/04/29 05:36:35] llOrd(textbox): llOrd('🗕',0) = 128469 (0x1f5d5)
[2025/04/29 05:36:46] llOrd(textbox): llOrd('🗙',0) = 128473 (0x1f5d9)
[2025/04/29 05:36:51] llOrd(textbox): llOrd('🞁',0) = 128897 (0x1f781)

The most annoying problem with this bug isn't even that certain names, UI elements or custom characters on important displays cannot be read, but it also corrupts the chat log files retroactively - not only the new parts added with V7 viewers but going back the entire log - so it does permanent damage to the logs that doesn't get reverted when logging in with a V6 viewer again and opening the log file.

AlettaMondragon Resident Is that every single chat log in the user's profile folder, or just the one that are accessed to append new chat? Either way, it sounds like a ticket should be created to make sure these logs are opened in Append Mode.
AlettaMondragon Resident
RestrainedRaptor Resident I'm not sure, so far I've only checked local chat, a few groups and personal IMs, and those were accessed by the new viewers. I will have to check a log that wasn't opened by new viewers and has special characters in it. I'll update this when I get to it.
