Crashed. Rebooting PC and trying 3 different viewers did nothing. Cleared cache. Got back for a minute but touching objects did not work and crashed again

Hi Marie.
I didn't (and still don't) see any crash reports from you, so we need the SecondLife logs from you.
Please Reproduce the crash, log out, and then zip up your viewer logs folder. This page tells you where to find the logs folder: https://community.secondlife.com/knowledgebase/english/how-to-report-a-bug-r224/
Next, email the zip file to bug-attachments@lindenlab.com and reference the issue name in the email subject line.
Leave a comment on this canny issue once that's done so we can take a look at the logs.
A couple other other things that will be helpful:
When you say the viewer crashes, does it just disappear or is there an error that pops up?
Please copy the info from Help > About Second Life into a comment here.

Dan Linden Never mind. It happened and several people and several groups experienced it. I'm baffled that LL does not know about it but I don't want to waste your or my time. Best wishes0

Hi Marie,
This viewer (Genesis) is not supported by Linden Lab. For support with third party viewers, please contact that viewer's developers. The official list of TPVs can be found here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory
If you can reproduce this problem on the official Second Life Viewer ( https://secondlife.com/support/downloads/ ), please update this issue with information on the supported viewer version accordingly.

Dan Linden Thanks for the reply but I tried the official LL viewer, Firestorm, and Genesis. When I could log on, I chatted with several others and groups and heard that many others were also having problems. It went back to normal after several hours though. It's concerning to me that you did not acknowledge or seem to be aware there really was a problem. In my original ticket I did state, " trying 3 different viewers did nothing," and apologize I was not clear that one was the official viewer.
