Dragging and dropping entry from People > Friends into chat causes viewer to crash
complete

I was attempting to send a calling card to another user through IM. Instead of selecting a calling card from Inventory, I clicked on the username in the Friends tab, then dragged and dropped it into the IM chat box. Doing this caused the viewer to crash immediately. A second attempt to perform this action lead to the same result.
I don't know if this is considered an "unauthorized" action, but the viewer doesn't stop it from being performed, and the cursor shows a "drop item" icon instead of a "not allowed" one.

Hi Free,
I was unable to reproduce this crash on 7.2.1.17108480561. You are dragging a friend's name from the Friends tab of the People floater (that has Nearby, Friends, Groups, Recent, Blocked tabs) onto the an IM chat with another person, right?
In any case, this crash should be fixed in the 2025.08 beta on https://releasenotes.secondlife.com/viewer.html
