Hi Liam Clover! Just making sure this ticket is still active. It's been a few months, and I want to make sure our tickets don't get too stale. Are you still experiencing issues?

Hi Liam.
I opened the Gesture window and clicked the + button to create a gesture and thought I reproduced this issue, but then realized I was mistaking the first field of the floater for the name, but it's actually the Description. My new gesture was successfully created, and is named "New Gesture".
Are the gestures you are creating named New Gesture, and are you able to see them? If not, please try with the Second Life viewer from https://secondlife.com/downloads and see if it works.
