See https://jira.firestormviewer.org/browse/FIRE-36985. Official sl, firestorm and other sl viewers have multiple instances in the dock and at activity monitor. It happen when i startup a viewer and i can quit them but they appear sometimes when i teleport again. It is only with sl viewers for me, not with other apps.

Spiffy, you talking about me? I use 27.2 Beta (26B5091g) Or are you on MacOS 15?

This is concerning for me, as someone who was hoping to update to macOS 27 at some point. Still on macOS 15 at the moment.

YEAH!!!! Finally, Firestorm version 7.2.5.81749 works like a charm. It felt like i had 6 times firestom open and that issue is gone now to. Problem solved !!!

Ok, I don't know about programming, but I know about providing info. Padoria and I live in the Netherlands. That's the only thing we can think of as the possible difference. But Padoria has her Mac on Dutch without Siri AI, and I have my Mac on USA with Siri AI. We both have a different ISP, so that's not the point. There is nothing else I can think of why Padoria and I have this issue. I hope more people vote so we get more info. I always think out of the box, even weird things. So! Tomorrow I'll boot up and use a VPN to the USA and see if the issue is gone. I know already this probably isn't the issue, but the issue is weird. I try to think very deep and out of the box, because I have solved issues in the past that nobody thought of. Do you guys have other ideas?

Ohhh... tomorrow I'll make a second clean user account on my Mac and see what happens. Then we know it isn't another app that messed everything up.

I have a question. I know some SL viewer developers use another app and or platform to make it rather than Xcode. Is it possible that this is the issue? Maybe Apple bans other programming programs.

Yikes Lopez The viewers are compiled with XCode, the IDE/Text editor you use to make code changes has literally 0 impact on anything, nor does the compiler even know or care what editor you used to make code changes.
