I use voice a lot so yes I know how to turn it on. When I log into sl, I cannot hear. My friends hear me occasionally but most of the time they can't. I have to log into firestorm which I really don't like using. This has been going on since April 2nd or 3rd.

Hi Eagle,
There were in fact some Vivox issues recently.
Are you still experiencing voice troubles? If so, does toggling the voice checkbox (found via hovering over top-right volume button) resolve it for you?

Atlas Linden It's been a while since I've tried the voice on the SL viewer. I just tried this morning because I really perfer that systom over firestorm. However, voice still isn't working. My friends can hear me, but I can't hear them.

Eagle Himmel To clarify, you only have the voice issue on the SL viewer? If so, some things I'd recommend checking:
- Ensure the correct output device is selected in Preferences>Sound & Media.
- Is your firewall or antivirus software blocking the SL viewer? Particularly, SLVoice.exe.
- Try clearing cache via Preferences>Advanced and restart the viewer
- The last thing I'd ask you to try is completely uninstalling and reinstalling the viewer.
If the issue still occurs, I encourage you to contact support via https://support.secondlife.com/ for further troubleshooting.
