Requires AMD GPU, Adrenalin 25.10.2 or later.
See attachment for a visual of the issue. Toggling AO makes no difference. Please note that there is a risk of this issue being prevalent for many months to come if Linden does not exert pressure on AMD to work together on a solution to this rendering issue. I'm speaking from experience with other software.
The workaround is to revert back to 25.9.1 driver.

Persisting on 26.6.1 & submitted another bug report in the Adrenalin software. At this point I just want to see it listed under the 'known issues' of the AMD Adrenalin patch notes.

issue persists, its frustrating to have to use a graphics card that is 6 months behind on updates just to be able to play sl, when i want to be able to run other games on the pc with improved fps as well. please fix :(

Win 11, gmktec k11 - latest Adrenalin, same issue persisting since i bought the device.
I tried to undo some pbr settings and lighting probes through the debug menu and different settings, nothing helps.
Tried also alchemy and firestorm, the issue persists in all viewers.
On my macbook it works just fine, so it is a driver issue for sure.
Did anyone create a ticket for AMD? Or do we just hope for a fix to fall in our lap by happenstance ?

06.02.2026 Immer noch das selbe Problem.
I have reinstalled C++ Visuals to the newest, I have uninstalled and reinstalled graphic drivers, I even tried a different viewer. Nothing changed. But also in no other game appears this issue.

Still an issue as of 1.29.26! Logged in today with a AMD rollback to 25.9.1 that I've had for about a month, and today it glitched again. Saw that AMD released an update in the last week. Updated to 26.1.1 and still have the issue:

I'm not sure exactly what happened. I tried another rollback (25.9.2) and then I got a fail to install message. The last time this happened and I kept trying, it corrupted my sytem and I had to reinstall Win. I gave up and went back to 26.1.1 and the glitch is gone.

Next time when you want to do a rollback, use DDU Cleaner from Guru3D. You need to do this in Windows safe mode. Also disconnect from the internet so you can install 25.9.1 or whatever version in peace (because with internet, Windows Update may decide to install a different version automatically).
