Water reflections upside down
needsĀ info
Amorphous Bork
Whenever I try to create reflections in water they appear upside down. This has been tested with new waters and pre-existing. It has been tested on four different viewers including the official viewer. It has been tested at several different locations within Second Life, it has also been tested with two separate accounts (both mine) The result is the same every time, reflections are upside down. Can you please help.

I have submitted a ticket, Im not sure the log actually attached to the ticket? Uninstalling and reinstalling my graphics drivers did not fix the issue.
I am wondering if this issue has been caused by using the in game camera in Dragon Age Veilguard. I only used it once but there was a pop up at the time (which I did not read)...it may have changed something I just have no idea what
Just to add I have checked this on another pc and the reflections were still upside down there too...

Understood. If you haven't used Ansel before then it's not likely to be the problem here.
Since you've seen this on 4 different viewers and we haven't seen any other reports of this, this is likely not a bug in the viewer, but is caused by something outside of the viewer.
1) I would try completely uninstalling the video drivers , downloading them from Nvidia and installing them fresh.
2) If that doesn't work, please send us the SecondLife.log in case it holds a clue. Reproduce the viewer issue, log out, and then zip up your viewer logs folder. This page tells you where to find the logs folder: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/How-to-report-a-bug/ta-p/733545#Section_.3
Next, log into https://support.secondlife.com/ and click the "Submit a Support Case" in the right column, then choose Issue Type: āā¦ā and type ālogs for canny issueā and add the link to this canny issue. Click the āAttach a fileā link at the bottom and attach the zip file.
Leave a comment on this canny issue once that's done so we can take a look at the logs.
Thank you!

I had to go look up what Ansel was. I have followed steps to disable Ansel but have not been able to find settings for it anywhere on my machine...

Hi Amorphous. That is a very interesting effect. I've installed the same Game Ready 572.70 drivers as you have and I am not able to reproduce this issue. Are you possibly using the Nvidia Ansel feature?
