Ability to Hide Stores as a filter in MP.
Loni Onyx
There are so many times I am searching through MP and seeing Stores that I do not care to ever shop at. I often wish for a way to filter out the stores so my shopping experience can be smoother. Also the filter for do not show demos doesn't work. Needs updating.

I've always wanted this in the Marketplace:
When I search for something like 'coffee cup' — obviously looking for an actual coffee cup — by the second, third, and fourth page, I see 300 t-shirts from the same creators in different colors, all with a coffee cup printed on them.
Many creators use this spammy tactic to flood Marketplace search results.
Another example: I'm still looking for my 'coffee cup,' but by the fifth, sixth, and seventh page, I see 300 'AI art' textures showing a nude girl holding a coffee cup.
And yes, many creators do this too.
I’d love to be able to hide these creators. I think that would encourage them to be less spammy.

Yes! This would be very much useful. I am very tired of seeing things show up when searching for things that aren’t even close to the product. Searching for jewlery and adult poses come up along with pre mesh clothing. This is ridiculous. Needs fixed.

I was iffy on whether this was needed until today, when my browsing for curtains on MP was disrupted by a store spewing hundreds of the ugliest AI-created 'designs' I've ever seen. Literally dozens of listings on every pages from a single person, and not one redeeming item in all of them. The ability to block a particular shop is very, very much needed. No one should have to go through that.

Loni Onyx, very good idea & would make us shop more as well actually! :)

This feature would really enhance my shopping experience on marketplace! Being able to use this additional filter would really help me find the things I’m searching for much more quickly by letting me easily bypass a number of stores I already know I do not want to shop at, but whose items repeatedly turn up for me as unwanted choices to wade through. As others have related, keyword spam, large numbers of color variants on a single item, shops full of rips/flips or even sometimes a creator whose style is just a solid ‘nope’ for me could be so easily filtered with this option. I do use the Boolean search operators, quotes and (*)wildcard functions and the provided sidebar filters to drill down as best I can but even with those, I still find myself seeing ‘oh no, not THAT shop again’ results way more often than I’d like.

Somehow, i would also like to avoid having to navigate through a dozen pages showing nothing but variants of the same item im not interested in.

Hello, I've often wished I could filter out certain shops on the Marketplace. For example, shops that have blocked me, I really don't need to see those. The same goes for shops I'm not interested in or ones I'm boycotting. I'd also like to filter out shops that abuse keyword spamming and show up in every random search result.
For this purpose, a button would be helpful, similar to the "Add to Favorites" option, but as a blacklist version directly within the respective shop.
On that note, Linden Lab should automatically be alerted when a shop gets blacklisted by too many users and take appropriate action. That way, users could avoid the hassle of submitting an abuse ticket.

Daemonika Nightfire Love this, but not the automatic report. It's just another way for people to abuse eachother inappropriately. Imagine your new boyfriend's ex gets jealous of you and uses all of her alts and "family" to block your store and trigger you to be reported. Imagine if the result was a temporary suspension on your transactions until LL can address your specific report. Do you want to wait for LL to get around to addressing your ticket, hopefully believing you, and lifting your suspension, all to save the hastle of filling out a report? Rhetorical, you don't need to answer that, because the answer is obvious. If we're really "boycotting" and blocked from stores, we already have a lot of drama and so if there's really that bad of people who need to be reported, taking the time to write the report is better and will inconvenience the people who are going to abuse it. Then again, some people have too much time on their hands and will fill out those reports on all their alts too. But it'd be significantly less who would abuse that system, meaning far less innocent people trapped by it.

Hi, the automatic alert isn't meant to replace the abuse report, but rather to inform the shop owner that their products aren’t being purchased because users have chosen to hide them. A simple notice in the shop settings, such as "You are blocked by ### users," might be enough. No sanctions should follow, just a reminder that their products might not be well received.

Would definitely help block out the stores that spam every tag they possibly can. I'm sorry, I don't want your random bikini when I'm searching for eyeshadow.
Cackle Amore
Quite a few blatant asset flippers that I would love to block out.

The 'do not show demos' button may not always work due items listed before items could even set to be demos, iirc? adding "NOT demo" to the search might help, if applicable.
Big agree though, a marketplace-specific block list, where you don't inworld full-block someone, but also don't have to see their store, would be ideal.
