ACCOUNT DASHBOARD - add a shortcut menu to top-up with US$

Dear Lindens,
Please add on the account dashboard an option to pay US$, just like we have the "buy L$" button and store the US$ before billing date.
Very often, we might not have enough US$ or the ability to pay for our land and premium fees because of various reasons:
- Bank account compromised
- Stolen card, needs to be blocked
- Unexpected RL expenses
- Family instability (for example a RL partner addicted to gambling)
- Many others.
To solve this problem, it would be nice to provide a way to deposit US$ in advance on our accounts, so that our accounts will not end-up on hold because of missing payments.
Also, if this feature is implemented, it would be nice to have the option to choose if we want land and premium fees to be paid primarily from our bank accounts or from the money deposited in advance.
This would make less accounts end-up on hold because of unforeseen payment issues.
In 14 years, I was unable to pay 3 times and once I ended-up with the account on hold, because my bank account got compromised or my card stolen.
Kind regards,
Abida Cemis Leonova (Ana Imfinity).

Hello, and thank you for your feature request.
Incoming suggestions are reviewed in the order they are received by a team of Lindens with diverse areas of expertise. We consider a number of factors: Is this change possible? Will it increase lag? Will it break existing content? Is it likely that the number of residents using this feature will justify the time to develop it? This wiki page further describes the reasoning we use: Feature Requests
This particular suggestion, unfortunately, cannot be tackled at this time. However, we regularly review previously deferred suggestions when circumstances change or resources become available.
We are grateful for the time you took to submit this feature request. We hope that you are not discouraged from submitting others in the future. Many excellent ideas to improve Second Life come from you, our residents. We can’t do it alone.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Second Life.
