Add an object parameter flag for adult content. This would allow creators to identify their objects as adult. There should also be an Adult icon next to these objects throughout the UI.

Users should have the ability to opt into or out of adult content at any time. Adult content would be default opted out. This would prevent any objects flagged as adult from being rendered client-side. Additionally regions rated as mature could have the option to allow or disallow adult objects. Regions rated as general will always have adult objects disabled. Adult regions could have the option, but may be unneeded. Any users in these regions that have adult objects disabled will not be able to render adult objects.

I know plenty of people that are interested in the social, and avatar building within second life. However, quite a few of them do not play because of the abundant amount of adult content. There are also plenty of people that will go out of their way to de-render specific parts of avatars with adult content on them.

We currently rely on an entirely trust based system. I think this could be a potential solution, and open SL to a lot more people. This also could be a way to better enforce the ToS as there would be a clear distinction between adult and non-adult content.
