allow users to enable and disable phantom on no- modify objects

It would be nice to be able to make objects phantom or solid even if the permissions are no modify. I own products such as grass, furniture and decorations that are not modify and I would like the ability to change the phantom status with our having to contact the seller/creator and ask them

I don't see any reason that furniture/decor should be no modify in the first place.
Obviously this isn't a perfect solution, because sometimes there is no alternative - but this is why I never knowingly buy No Modify items.

Miro Fairelander Are you saying that making no-modify products to be able to phantom/solid isn't a perfect solution or are you saying making all sellers to make their products no modify?

A while ago, someone made the same suggestion about full-bright. The concern was that it would take control away from creators over their own creations.

Caelan Whimsy that is a very weird reason. Was it a linden that said that or a resident?

BrianTopp Resident It was multiple residents.
