Animation Speed Dial

How would you like the feature to work?
Would have a dial or slider that would slow down or speed up the animation. Mainly for dancing but see lots of uses for this.
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
I spend a lot of time at clubs dancing and sometime I have the perfect dance but it's a couple beats to fast or slow. Would be nice to dial it in a little more. I'm sure you know nothing is better then when you have a great tune and dancing with friend and it's perfect.

It would be nice if this feature also controlled OTHER avatars aswell.
it makes it hard to produce more content other then solo videos for sl machinima

Hope we can also use this function via LSL to actually pause the animation with 0.0 value and resume by applying it again with higher value than zero.

If this is implemented I hope this can also be extended so that it affects not just animation on one's viewer, but also other's viewers.

Many TPV have client-side animation timescale adjust. The UI on that would only need to be improved. I use that function pretty often for taking photos.
Unrelated: All of these copied over "user story" Jiras is making Kyle look like a very ADHD SL super-fan. xD

Could this be controlled at the script level? Like I pass a float into a play animation function, which defines a percentage of the speed an animation plays at?
Something like "llPlayAnimationAtSpeed(string name, float speed)"
And then it sort of raises up cool ideas like allowing a negative speed, to play an animation backwards at different speeds?
While it might be easiest to implement this as a client side option, I hope it's not done that way. I would want to make sure when this is used, all users SEE you dancing at your chosen speed, and it's not just happening in your viewer.
