Animesh - Proper calculation of animesh land impact

I'm proposing that the 15 impact is replaced by a system that is actually, fully receptive to the content by a user to encourage performant creations rather than expecting an arbitrary number to the Land Impact, smiling and shrugging.
At the very least have the LI cost of Animesh lowered significantly to dampen the hesitation by SL users to purchase the content involving it and enable creators who want to implement it.
I don't know what goes on 'under the hood' with Animesh other than it's some branch of the SL avatar skeleton, but there's a lot of uses where it could be given non-character, environmental roles to animate content with .ANIM rather than using keyframing with scripting (for example) that are currently not viable due to the insane upfront LI cost.
It's hardly viable for a flying flag to be 20 Land Impact, especially when a user would scoff at the idea of such a cost and go find their ugly 1 prim flexi flag, waving at us from 2007. :)

Agreeing on the land impact of animesh being too high for most use cases. Id like to see the initial "punishment" halved to around 5-7 instead of the current 15. For Nikola: A 2048 texture IS four times the size of a 1024. It is twice as large in x AND y, so 2 x 2 = 4.

It also counts as a whole other agent (basically another avatar), and I don't know the specifics of -why- that is, but I think that's part of the reason the land impact is so high.
I'd definitely like animesh to be reworked and made more render/cost/impact effective and I hope that's what the future engine updates for custom skeletons and mesh uploads will mean. More information on all of that would be great.

Thats true when you have only a 500 prim parcel every single prim its a hard choice and 20 for a flag orther Animesh noooope. Lindens way make me a bit angry, Frist that uploade cost who 2048 images cost 4 times more as a 1024 image great calculation Doppel Size 4 times on top linden get from Apple? and now that.

Nikola Leissa - Even if you have a whole sim it's costly to add animesh to liven up your land... like you'd need to a couple thousand worth of LI just for that purpose. It does make areas look great but it should either count as an avatar, or as some LI, but not both as stated above.
