banned text emails need to say the word or words

I have been receiving emails stating I have used banned words but for the life of me can't figure out what the word or words are. Why? because the email doesn't tell us what the words are. We need clearer emails that state the words that were used to have our products unlisted off the market place.

I wonder why this suggestion isn’t possible. If LL is already flagging items in the Marketplace for banned words, then they clearly know which words are causing the ban. Adding those words to the notification email seems like a simple fix that would not increase lag, would not break existing content, and requires no extra development in the process of sending the email.
Generic responses like this make me wonder if feedback is really being looked at. In this case, it shows a sloppy and uninterested approach and how little LL cares for residents' feedback. While I understand that canned responses can be helpful, in this particular case they actually show a lack of interest when specific issues are raised.
With treatment like this, residents of SL are left feeling as though putting time and effort into providing feedback is in vain. You should and could do better, LL!

The most likely reasons that come to mind;
- To make it harder to circumvent the banned words list.
- Some of the words are being forced on SL by a 3rd party.
- Legal are concerned the list could suggest inconvenient social biases.
Though, in the case of a word like "Taser" (also Hoover, and a host of other "household names" that may perhaps be on the list), I never would have guessed that was the word at fault — I didn't even know Taser
was
a trademark, I thought the term described a type of weapon. This topic is closed, so they'll probably never read this, but while they likely have good cause to keep their "rude words" list to themselves (and even if they don't, "why risk it" comes to mind in this day and age or trivial litigation), I
would
like to see words like that specifically — potentially non-obvious trademark's — highlighted as being at fault, preferably citing documentation.Spidey Linden

Hello, and thank you for your feature request.
Incoming suggestions are reviewed in the order they are received by a team of Lindens with diverse areas of expertise. We consider a number of factors: Is this change possible? Will it increase lag? Will it break existing content? Is it likely that the number of residents using this feature will justify the time to develop it? This wiki page further describes the reasoning we use: Feature Requests
This particular suggestion, unfortunately, cannot be tackled at this time. However, we regularly review previously deferred suggestions when circumstances change or resources become available.
We are grateful for the time you took to submit this feature request. We hope that you are not discouraged from submitting others in the future. Many excellent ideas to improve Second Life come from you, our residents. We can’t do it alone.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Second Life.

Spidey Linden So you want us to guess what word is blacklisted? Why don't you post the entire list of all the offensive words? Give us some transparency here. Post the list, so we can look it up, at least it will more helpful than your generic response.

Banning words. Nice. I could say more but I suspect any words I use would also be banned words.

I was accused of "religious prppaganda" by Relay for Life Fantasy Faire...in my shows..but FF deny to document it and deny to respond on any msg. YES we need to have banned text msg verifying any accusation.

Yman Juran This suggestion is not referring to group moderation and chat. This ‘banned words’ topic is about Marketplace listings only. Your issue seems to be unrelated.

Ember Ember sorry

SL FeedbackWith due respect to the automatic system, this rubber-stamp response does not in any way solve the problem the original poster is speaking of.
If possible, they are asking for WHAT particular words were used that are considered banned.
If this cannot be answered specifically, please publish a complete list of banned words so others can avoid this happening in the future.
Thank you.

Rheia Silvercloud a public list of banned words would be very helpful. And also, why not just simply indicate that at time of doing the listing and trying to save/publish it. Something like "the words X and Y are not allowed". And even mark them in red so everyone knows and avoid using them. Can't be that hard to implement a simple filter to trigger right when listing items.
