Bakes on mesh (BOM) support for animesh attachments

I would the ability to use my baked avatar textures on animesh attachments. I can't see a downside to enabling this, and animesh can simply inherit the bake of the avatar it's attached to. When placed inworld rather than attached, it would appear the same as a BOM body or body part with the BOM placeholder textures.

Just a little bumpity bump, hoping this feature doesn’t get forgotten ♥

Absolutely, the lack of the option to set a BOM layer on animesh really cuts down customization of body attachments. That would make it much easier to create a whole range of modifications and we’d all benefit from it, both users and creators

This would be a great feature as long as it does not "replace" the texture option as it would not work for animesh companions.

I really hope this gets implemented! There's so much we can do with BOM textures, plus it doesn't impact the grid as much. I'm wrapping up production on new mesh bento wings that use BOM for the diffuse, and was disappointed after converting them to Animesh & discovering it wouldn't work when not Bento. Please make this happen sooner rather than later, it would allow so many more options for wearables without so much land impact.

In the Bake list, there is Head, Upper, Lower, Eyes, Skirt, Hair, LeftArm, LeftLeg, Aux1, Aux2, and Aux3. We could use those for the animesh without changing the appearance of our avatar. Most people are using Head, Upper and Lower for their avatar these days... so the rest are unused.
However, that won't let you use no-mod layer-clothes as you'd need access to the texture themselves and apply it to the different bake slot channels.
