Everyone loves cats. Thus, giving everyone a pet cat that they can walk around with and snuggle would greatly improve everyone's mental health in SL. People could receive cats of random colors and sizes, which would lead to more socialization as people showed each other their cats. I nominate that the cat be named Whiskers Linden, and they would be given to everyone upon rezzing inworld or given to existing residents. People could also rename their cats as well. I believe this would greatly improve the quality of Second Life and welcome your support.

I have more gacha cats than I can ever give away. If you need a cat this badly, IM me in world and I will send you one. But this post? Honestly, it's ridiculous. Linden Lab is not your personal Santa Claus. Also, not everyone likes cats. I don't even like cats.

With the already abundant options to acquire a feline companion existing inworld, this post is unnecessary, as well as untrue. Not everyone loves cats. I personally do, my partner would see them yeeted into orbit.

Thrre are multiple Group gifts from Sebellune i think the name is, one or two are moggies. Free join. Maybe new user auto generated Messages with locations to interesting locations/groups would work?
Many newbies tend to skip over the orientation islands.

As a cat, I approve, but let it be a gift after a week of activity so that the newbie has had time to learn how to attach and detach an object. Also, some people, inexplicably, do not like cats, so give them the chance to choose another animal.
