Have Folder Image Uploader Optionally Resize Pictures Larger that 256x256
Jennifer Boyle
The title pretty much says it all. Currently, if I try to make a texture that is larger than 256x256 a folder image, I get a message saying that it is too large. Then, I have to use a graphics editor to resize it, and then I have to upload the smaller one.
It would be better if the dialog box that pops up when an image is too large had a checkbox or radio buttons that would allow a choice between "Resize and use" and "Close without using." Of course, the pre-selected default should be "Resize and use."

I've wished for this myself. Thanks for suggesting it. Many designers use 2:1 images.

yes a LOT of designers use the 2:1 ratio for their images, it really needs to be added as an ability to use the designers image no matter what ratio, if it is in the folder we should be able to use it, even if you add the option to crop it to a square.

Also add the ability to choose any inventory photo, texture or image of any size and if it is not already 256256 offer to make one that complies.

If you are using the option to select an image from your already uploaded images then the pop up is a fib... you can use pictures that are 1024 x 1024 or 512 x 512 the only limitation is that they have to be square which is horrible as most stores don't make square ads. I only use square ads now so that I can make use of the image function on packages for my products.

also many images are 2:1 ratio, the option to make them 1:1 to use them would also help
