Let certain scripts and huds run in ims

I have a general problem understanding my foreign friends that speak either japanese, korean or any language I don't understand. For that I use a translator hud when they are in local chat which of course works quite well. However, when in IM's it becomes an issue since I can't use it and would need to keep translating each sentence in Deepl which is tedious.
Such a solution would mitigate the major language barrier on SL.
