Linden Home Prim Allowance

With all the new changes here recently with PBR & in the past year or so, like the premium packages. I feel that the Premium members should be allowed AT LEAST 100 more prims onto the 351. Of the homes we have to choose from, though beautiful, some builds are large and spacious. Im mindful of prims and what im using to decorate but I can only do so much with 350 in the larger home selections. For the premium package, I think the prim allowance should have went up a little as well. At 451 Prims. Everything that was in the Premium package Before the Premium Plus came along, is pretty much all the same. If i am mistaken about something, someone please correct me LoL. But all in all it would be nice for Premium holders to get +100 more prims on their 1024m Linden Home

This sounds like a great idea! Perhaps increase prim total for each paid membership level beyond the base (basic) entry membership. This would in turn provide extra incentive and benefit for each higher level membership as higher fees are paid.

At minimum align prims to Anshex or better tell users to go to Anshex ... For now Premium accounts are not at all competitive compared to such land lords by a factor x2 !

I particularly like this. Thanks for sharing that.

I'm super excited for extra LI on Linden Homes! Please double that for Premium Plus members, unless we can have 2 linden homes :)

This is long overdue, and I think should be increased to be more competitive and challenging to decorate. for the lot size, many other "rental" places offer even up to 800 prims for the 1024 size, while LL homes limit to 351. yes decorating to a degree, even using rezzers, can be achieved, but it is still limited. Increasing the prim allocation even by 100 or making it an even 500, would be beneficial and inspire even more creative decorations for LL homes. Sadly not everyone is "prim-savvy", or knowledgable in how to decrease / maximize prim allocation while decorating their own homes, adding the extra would help to open the creative flow or being able to use older and newer items both in owned LL homes. I am sure some would argue against this stating that homes can be wonderfully decorated with 351, but that really isn't the point since yes, it can be done if you "know" how to, but not everyone does or can, and not everyone know how to ask or wants to. Adding the extra prims might also help "sell" more premium membership in the long run. I have been told by many friends or people I have met that they save more by not buying premium and simply renting land for the higher prim allocations. I'd say that would be a valid argument to justify increasing the premium prim allocation on its own merit. But that is just my own opinion.

ShibariKate Resident Thank you. It was said that apparently im "demanding" more prims when i thought this was a Suggestion post because ofc LL can do whatever they want. And yes i know they can be decorated nicely with the current prim allowance as Liberty stated and went to look at the examples that were provided. They were really nice but not my style. There is a certain look im attracted to when decorating and of the styles that I like, the furniture is goin to be a little more primy. I dont always like to link things together because it may or may not Decrease the land impact. And Unlinking it, lol well lets just hope all the pieces and shadows stay together.
But of the linden homes I have decorated for myself, family and friends, I have always noticed that if I had a few more prims I could have done more. ShibariKate I feel like you understood where I was coming from on this.

With Liberty's help, I was able to decorate my Ranch home with LI to spare, although my spare LI is not as impressive as Liberty's on her Mediterranean home. Just to further prove that it truly can be done with the LI we are given.
I too would love more allowance for LI simply because I'd like to be able to have up everything I have now and add seasonal decorations for holidays without removing my decor

Dreamy Fairelander - yes, excellent point, add holiday decor without having to remove stuff!!

I concur. And it’s not like the regions will suffer overload with a good percentage of the homes always being empty and a lot of those that aren’t being sparsely decorated.

If you think you can't fill a Linden Home with the amount of prims allotted, I challenge you to visit this Linden Home and see for yourself how well it can be done: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Leeward%20Channel/21/228/23
That home is allotted 351 land impact, the same as every other 1024 meter Linden home. I have used no temp rezzers (which are against the covenant anyway). Every room is fully decorated and I still have 65 prims to spare. I even have a complete patio furnished outside and a very nice sailboat. So yes, it can be done. It can be done very well - if you are careful and plan well.
And in case you think that home is a fluke, take a look at my premium plus home where I have done the same thing in a much grander fashion, decorating inside and out in a beautiful Tuscan style, using only 573 of the 703 prims allotted: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Rouannes/64/125/25
Yes, it can be done. And it can be done beautifully. More prims would be nice, of course. I would never turn more down. But learning to live better with what we have is better than demanding more being our go to. If you're struggling with decorating your Linden home, let me know. I'd be happy to help you.

Liberty Fairelander I looked at both of your homes and WOW what execusite taste you have, both homes are breath-taking

Liberty Fairelander WOW indeed. after visiting both I went home, deleted everything and started anew. The way you used divided the open space to make a living room and kitchen in the stilt home was eye opening. and that garden on tuscan ♥. real talent.
