Links marked safe or unsafe

Have the ability for links given in groups to be marked as " Safe" or " unsafe (possible scam)" so non technical people can judge if they want to click the link or not.

I like the idea but how would it work? Does it depend on a group moderator being around to apply the marking?

Garnet Psaltery It would likely be some kind of 'whitelist' filter set up on the SL chat server(s), such that Linden-operated domains would be 'safe' and all others 'visit at your own risk'. Right now certain viewers do this on their own (Firestorm) but that's viewer-side, not server-side.
I would propose that LL subscribe to a domain filter service such as OpenDNS, which keeps track of just about all of the different types of domains out there. Using such a service would require LL to use OpenDNS as a nameserver lookup for their web proxies, which would then allow OpenDNS to 'screen' the URL, extract the domain, and then send back a data packet with what they know about the domain, good and bad. The LL viewer would then display an icon that could be clicked to display that report.
I use OpenDNS as a private individual - it's very good at flagging sites that are of questionable reputation (I see an intermediary page that says "this is a sketchy place" and thus makes for a good backstop for the more ... creative... scammers out there.)
