Personal User Name based Email accounts as part of our accounts

all accounts are assigned a username based email account such as SasyScarborough@SecondLifeResident.com so that all communication can be sent to one place, offlines would not necessarily need limits as people could allow for communication via emails, and it could be accessible via dashboard.
This would help with group limits also, as a lot of the day to day communications for events, workplace notices etc could all instead be emails.

Absolutely not. LL is already reading all of our in-world communications. They don't need to read our email, too.

I don't think I want inden Labs diverting resources to run a high volume mail server - which is much more time consuming and difficult than you might think.
I would support a way to send emails to a residents registered email adress (if they have one) without revealing the email address . Currently it is used to send IMS and groupnotices when a resident is offline
