POLICE SECOND LIFE

hello everyone, is it possible to create a police force for sl? these people, the sim crashers, crash sims not for fun but for money, they charge something like 50,000l per crash and some ask for the piece from others, otherwise the evenings are destroyed, here the situation is serious, every day new avatars are created to crash sims, I ask if it is possible to create a system where these people are banned from sl and all their alters, because they are convinced that the LL does nothing to them and they can continue instead we need protection from these people and I also volunteer in my small way for this system of putting these despicable people and their principals in the blacklist grid, let me know if it is possible and with whom to talk seriously about these fake mafiosi who hang around in sl, thanks for your attention, maybe you are not aware of this situation that exists in sl but it doesn't seem right to me because it should be a place for fun not for fear

Hello, and thank you for your feature request.
Incoming suggestions are reviewed in the order they are received by a team of Lindens with diverse areas of expertise. We consider a number of factors: Is this change possible? Will it increase lag? Will it break existing content? Is it likely that the number of residents using this feature will justify the time to develop it? This wiki page further describes the reasoning we use: Feature Requests
This particular suggestion, unfortunately, cannot be tackled at this time. However, we regularly review previously deferred suggestions when circumstances change or resources become available.
We are grateful for the time you took to submit this feature request. We hope that you are not discouraged from submitting others in the future. Many excellent ideas to improve Second Life come from you, our residents. We can’t do it alone.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Second Life.

You already have the ability to mute and ban people, I don't see what a 'police force' would do that you can't already do as a land owner. Are you looking to Rodney King someone?

Hard no this would be abused so quickly but LL did have a mentor program at one point and I think they had priority when reporting people

I admit, this would sound like a great idea. Maybe a 50k fine and the threat of a permaban
would
deter trolls and the wannabe tough guys. But, you also have to put into consideration how vindictive people can be. "This chick told me no!" or "I don't like how you look/talk!" or even "I'm just bored." This idea can backfire quick. I understand where you're coming from and it IS annoying. But I would rather have to wait for the crashed sim to come back online than to have a false report all because someone is butthurt.Izzatooona Enthusiast
"every day new avatars are created to crash sims"...
Hi :) It's unlikely LL will ever consider your request. However, there are many things that can be done. First, if this is happening on the same region all the time, then the region owner can fix it. There are settings that prevent avatars from entering based on various things like age, payment info on file, etc. New avatars can be blocked completely with the age setting. For example, avatars less than x number of days old can be denied access. I highly recommend you get the region owner to look into that option. Good luck :)

We have a police, it's called Abuse Reports and handled by LL

This would be a Hard No! Over the years there have been a number of self appointed "police" forces in SL. They have caused more trouble than the troublemakers they have tried to combat. Most of these self appointed grid guardians have gone the way of the dodo. Good riddance.

I share you annoyance, but I would think a better solution would be for LL to patch the vulnerability that allows an account, with no authority, to cause a simulator to crash and then reset. I know over the years patching sim crash vulnerabilities has been a game of Whacker Mole for LL.
