Pose Other Users Feature

As a blogger, I know that a well-documented shortfall of Second Life and its many viewers is the that one user cannot pose other users in the same way that one can pose their own avatar in viewers like Black Dragon and Alchemy. This poses (no pun intended) an issue for people looking to do photography involving more than one subject. Yes, there are pose stands that allow you to do generic posing of users that sit on the pose stand, but the features are limited as compared to the poser in Alchemy and BD. (i.e. The bones available for posing are fewer in number, and are limited only to rotation-- whereas Alchemy and BD's self-poser also include position and scale).
My suggestion is this: a poser that is Experience-based and REQUIRES the consent of the avatar who is to be posed. Furthermore, consent is to be re-acquired with every attempt to pose the other user. This way, nobody can break privacy ToS or personal boundaries. In the spirit of total transparency, safety and privacy, the user being posed should/could also be able to see every change made to their avatar's pose, and can cancel the posing process at any time.
I would really love a consent-based feature like this to be implemented, because the ability to cohesively and smoothly pose those who I am doing photo collabs with is essential to the ease with which I create my art as a blogger and a virtual photographer.
I hope this suggestion will be considered!

2nd this.
It would be a great quality of life feature to be able to pose other peoples avatars; a pop up on the other users client, telling them that someone wishes to locally pose their avatar, with a "yes" - "no" or "block" option, much like other features currently would do the job nicely.
These options would add consent that would be rejected once the user who requested it leaves the parcel that all currently consenting avatars are on. (so the person doing the posing can only pose you when they have your consent at the time you give it. If you leave, or they leave, a new consent request must be sent.)
Consent seems to be the main issue with this, so making sure that consent is rejected any time either the poser or posee leaves the parcel or sim is one step to contain your privacy.
Another step to this is allowing the user to reject their consent at any time, either by leaving the parcel, or by pressing a button to reject consent which would remove your avatar from the list of available avatars to pose, AND reset your avatar back to an unposed state.
Having the ability to pose multiple avatars would be great, and would help with taking pictures a lot.
Maybe a pop up on your screen that tells you when your avatar is being posed as a backup too would be useful.
Here are some examples of what this could look like:
In my example, the posing is assumed to be local to the one editing, but as the OP says, for transparency, ideally the user being posed should see their avatar being posed, and be able to reject consent at any time. This way, they are able to prevent anything nefarious happening, and will be able to keep their personal boundaries, limits and stay within the LL guidelines etc.

Not sure i understand Crush Cutie? (or do you mean you dont think consent should be asked for? I have a feeling you dont mean that?) Also, im just asking for an interim step here i.e just to show pose changes we make to ourselves (via FS poser) in world as opposed to locally.
Crush Cutie
Consent to being posed prior to being posed is insufficient.
Spitewick Resident
Crush Cutie What, in your mind, would be sufficient, then? If the person being posed doesn't want to be posed mid-process, there could be a feature added to allow for the posed individual to exit the posing process at any time to preserve their privacy and consent.

I see that Firestorm (beta) now has a great poser (similar idea to Black Dragon and Alchemy). However it only allows local posing, not in world. Thus others cant see the changes you make to your own avatar/pose. I agree with others here (and on other posts) that it would be fantastic to allow this poser to pose others (with their permission of course), but in the interim could LL please allow the FS devs to utilise their excellent poser to change in-world poses (for your own av)?

People have tried to submit the code on Github to the Firestorm developer team. Rye Mutt (Alchemy) who has a thorough understanding of the code advised against it.

The LumiPro lighting system gives you that ability (with the model's consent). It's expensive, but may be worth it if you're a serious photographer.

Dana Enyo Oh yes, I'm aware of those sorts of systems, but from what I understand, it's very limited as compared to in-viewer posers in terms of how many bones are accessible and the lack of the ability to stretch and reposition (X,Y,Z axis) said bones, which are features that can be incredibly important to certain posing.
LumiPro may be a good holdover solution, but I'm not sure it'll be worth the price in the long run.

Spitewick Resident All true. Was thinking of this as an in-place solution to at least a part of the problem.
