So 10 years or so ago back in the original Second Life forums we had this big long discussion about creating privacy zones that limited transmission of information about agents and objects at the network level. So if you were outside the Privacy Zone and would not allowed to enter the Privacy Zone your client would never receive any information about any content inside the Privacy Zone. There were a number of different proposals for how this could be implemented and exposed to the user but the basic idea was pretty much uniformly desired and we got a bunch of very positive comments from Linden employees on the thread. And then it dropped on the ground and disappeared. Would it be possible to start this up again?
