Require Email Verification for Account Creation

In Second Life, one of the biggest problems is malicious alternate accounts used for cheating in games, harassing other residents, griefing regions, deception, scams, and more.
This happens because the registration process is too permissive—anyone can create an account using a fake email address without validating it. For instance, I could make an account every minute with the email asdf@asdf.com and log in immediately.
I propose that the account creation system should require email verification to confirm accounts, thus slowing down potential abusers.
Whether the email must be unique per account or not, I'll leave that decision to your discretion.
Additionally, a future email-based ban system to block all accounts associated with a single email address would also be beneficial.

It would be a start, but won't be enough. If you use Hide My Email or similar service, I'm sure you can get ChatGPT to verify the emails.

It's easy enough to get infinite email addresses in one manner or another, so I don't particularly see this slowing down people who know what they are doing.
However, no account attached to an email address should be set up without email verification! I have a problem with my primary email address where I keep being signed up for things because there is an idiot out there who doesn't enter in his entire actual email address (I don't have his real email, I assume he's got a number in there or something. I do have his full name, his house address in another country, his receipts for sextoys...). I'm constantly closing accounts on him (Paypal was the most obnoxious, they do

want to let you close accounts opened in error, but they will let you sign up for accounts and start sending you information without verifying anything?), and dealing with requests for password resets for accounts that I have under this email myself.Caroly Rossini
That would be great, at one time even the ID card was required to create an account, I think that at least now at least the card details (debit, credit or virtual) should be associated with the same name associated with the SL account, in fact it is currently one of the few ways to avoid intrusion of malicious alt accounts to a site, allowing accounts to be entered only with registered payment information.
