Texture Animation Editing UI

Texture animation is baked into the object properties but can only be modified by temporary scripts. Would it be possible to surface a UI for adjusting texture animations & timing, without having to rely on scripts? It would lend better to real-time experimentation being able to tweak all of those properties directly in the edit window.

Hello, and thanks for taking the time to write up your request for a Texture Animation editing UI in the build/edit floater.
This has come up before—your post is a duplicate of
BUG-233191
from Second Life’s previous bug tracking system
(the Jira archive). We’ve set this request to Tracked
and will link/merge your feedback there so everything stays consolidated in one place. We don’t have an ETA to share, but your emphasis on real-time experimentation (tweaking timing/parameters without relying on temporary scripts) is exactly the kind of detail that helps us understand the impact on builders and workflow. Please keep an eye on future viewer updates, and feel free to add any extra specifics (which parameters you most need exposed, where you’d expect the controls in the UI, etc.) to the tracked item.
Thanks again for helping improve Second Life.
