Tick Marks to Quickly Adjust Hover Height by Small Increments Instead of Typing in Exact Number

If we had tick marks in the hover height adjustment window that we could click to adjust hover height by just a little bit, it would be easier when changing it by the smallest amount possible. Sometimes I'm just like an inch off/below the ground but don't want to type 0.31 if it's currently at 0.3. If I could adjust by tick marks that could be a handy add-on. A small change, but could improve the game.

There's a great action for this with a keyboard shortcut... Works like a charm. Couldn't live without it:

In Firestorm and other viewer you can add to quick preferences floater a fine-tunning spinner for hover height that adjust by as little as 0.01 up or down

I would agree that hover height is an area that would benefit from a numeric spinner UI that allows incrementing and decrementing values by clicking or holding the buttons. Something like how it works in HTML: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Reference/Elements/input/number
The Firestorm and Official viewers allow you to click on the slider and then use up/down arrow keys to increment the values by smallest amount. I find this works slightly better in the Official viewer than in Firestorm, where the slider is more sensitive to value changes when clicking on it.
If you use Firestorm, they provide some local chat commands you can use to quickly adjust up/down by 0.05: https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/hover_height
I followed the advice in that wiki article and set up some gestures for those commands so that I can use custom keys to quickly adjust my hover height by a smidge.

wow, get into the computer age, it's in metric not antiquated inches. Firstly I rarely need to change the hover hieght, secondly I set it to zero to sit on furniture because the default is zero. Thirdly if your avatar is above or below the mean bounding then that is your issue.

Mondy Bristol, SL does not and your post clearly shows that you are a perfect example of the inverse ratio.

Mondy Bristol, SL does not, it uses metric which is standard.
