WelcomeHub retention issue

This request is to enable the voice in the landing point in the WelcomeHub. And, have a moderator around to deal with any trolling issues instead of relying on disabling voice.
Most new users to the platform don't understand the user interface enough to know an IM from a mentor has arrived. And, they can't hear anyone talking to them in the landing point at the Welcome Hub because the voice is disabled there.
As a result, new users experience confusion, disinterest and a feeling of the platform being a ghost town. Not realizing that it is only because they are standing in a dead zone due to the voice being disabled. They end up logging out disappointed, uninstalling and not coming back. This is a major new user retention issue.
I propose that voice should be re-enabled in the WelcomeHub landing zone and offer the fulltime mentors that stand there the ability to warn and kick anyone who cause issues. This way the mentors can actually guide the new users on voice, which is easier and makes the platform come alive. And, it would allow them to guide and help multiple new users at a time.
