Youtube Live Stream Trolls

LL needs more proactiveness regarding the trolls who record from the YouTube livestream. they come to the biker community and other sims and harass and verbally abuse us and yet reporting them through the report abuse feature doesn't seem to get them banned permanently IP address-wise. we are doing everything to block them and report but they keep making new accounts from their IP address and continue to target and harass us, especially the same ones that get banned.

Hello, and thank you for your feature request.
Incoming suggestions are reviewed in the order they are received by a team of Lindens with diverse areas of expertise. We consider a number of factors: Is this change possible? Will it increase lag? Will it break existing content? Is it likely that the number of residents using this feature will justify the time to develop it? This wiki page further describes the reasoning we use: Feature Requests
This particular suggestion, unfortunately, cannot be tackled at this time. However, we regularly review previously deferred suggestions when circumstances change or resources become available.
We are grateful for the time you took to submit this feature request. We hope that you are not discouraged from submitting others in the future. Many excellent ideas to improve Second Life come from you, our residents. We can’t do it alone.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Second Life.

Sadly, changing IP addresses is simple with a VPN. Even a MAC address can be spoofed with a little bit of work.
As Madi has said, certain places have been stalked for months, and they keep coming back on new alts.

An avatar being filmed without consent is not cool. Later on, they post their videos on the YT platform with creepy commentary and inaccurate statements all while invading personal space and private property. It's another form of cyberbullying.

We've been stalked by one of these trolls for months now. He comes into our estate and makes these videos even though it our covenant it clearly says "videos are not allowed without permission". This clearly makes what he does a violation of the TOS.
When we ban him from the estate, he just creates a new alt, and comes back and does it all over. When someone creates an alt to get around a estate or land ban that should be considered harassment. Which is also a TOS violation.
In my conversation with the help desk, all I got was "keep ARing him and his alts in mass." Which is something we have been told by the governance team will mean nothing.

you cant ip ban them just account ban youtube trolls pretty much always use a VPN which means the ip is never the same it will be different for every new account they make so all you can really do is just keep banning cus an ip ban wont do anything when the real ip is masked and not visible due to a VPN. your only hope is to get the ear of the vpn provider they use but good luck doing that as any good vpn will not keep data on customers like that because the entire point of a vpn is to be more private then just the standard open web. i think the best bet is a mac address ban but i do not think LL records that kind of information cus a mac address cant be masked.. at least i don't think it can it might be able to be with a virtual machine

I personally have had lots of trouble with these troublesome bubblesome TROLLS attacking my SIM. They TROLLED my second life family to death and my second life baby started crying so hard at a BIKER FAMILY BBQ when a man arrived with a wizard staff and TOSSED him across the lawn and also CHOKE SLAMMED HIM. Attatched is a picture of me riding my bike in real life. If I find these trolls I will ride out to meet them like a VALIANT KNIGHT.

BigBadBikerBabyBoy802 Resident I challenged one to a dual once. Told him to pick his weapons and have his second meet my second. Then we would meet in a combat sand box. My second never heard from his second and he was a no show.
I was going to cheat anyway. I had already rigged the sandbox with exploding nuclear chickens.

It would be great if they could be reported to YouTube for "tresspassing on private property". But I have no idea how to report a problem to YouTube. They seem to go out of their way to avoid posting "contact us" links.
Noodle Dust
Eren Padar highly doubt that would work its not real property its virtual land so property laws dont apply in that case

Noodle Dust Whether property laws are relevant in RL or not, YouTube rules are... and they can be quite a bit more strict when it comes to posting videos of private areas -- real or virtual-- on YouTube. This is especially the case if one informs YouTube that the video is of "copyrighted material". (Your land is copyrighted the moment you design it.) That can result in the poster being permanently banned from YouTube if such activity continues.
Another solution is to rent land on a private estate where non-registered visitors are not allowed. It is not visible to outside areas, yet you can still allow your friends access.
Griefers have been a cowardly pox on SL and its users for two decades. Since Linden Lab has clearly stated it won't do anything about this situation... that leaves us with using the tools available.
I recently recommended to Linden Lab to eliminate ban lines and security orbs and simply make lands and residents invisible to unauthorized visitors and vice versa. They rejected this logical solution to griefer problems (probably because it would take a bit of effort). Really makes these lands worth $250 a month, eh? ; )

There are no efficient way to block this. LL doesn't own youtube either.
Your best shot ... show porn when they come, find their live stream on youtube, report it for porn. Ban them from the sim and repeat. Creating a new youtube account is not as easy as one in SL.
Weird solution though
Madi Melodious
misstoriblack Resident The only way to fight this on youtube is to file a copy right strike against the account and the material on it. LL can to this because most of the material these trolls use is copyrighted by LL.

misstoriblack Resident Sadly, if it's a place that allows child av's showing porn is a MAJOR TOS violation now with the new rules.
misstoriblack Resident
Madi Melodious The TOS is clear enough on that, appearance only is not something that can be copyrighted.
Also it would make a false copy right strike.
When someone is show casing a new body on youtube or simply a SL tutorial that would produce a copyright strike as well then.

ASCIIrider Hailey Then banning or protecting the place with a group that you need to pay but you invite everyone already there for free or simply refund later if they behave alright if you don't want to take the money.
