'Zoom' SLURL
complete
Quistess Alpha
It is not always easy to point out to a resident where a nearby object is in 3d space, and additionally, it can be hard to focus on some small objects or objects that are moving fast.
As a solution to these cases, I propose the addition of a new category of viewer URI that focuses the viewer's camera on some object, similarly to if they had clicked it while holding ctrl+alt or had clicked it while its touch action was set to 'zoom'.
a link of the form [secondlife:///app/zoom/<UUID>] would when clicked (under this proposal) cause the viewer to zoom into the nearby object that has that UUID, and follow its movement, the same or similarly to how the viewer currently behaves when clicking on an object with 'zoom' as its touch action.

The viewer already has local "beacons" which are highlighted in-world and the minimap. For example, the ones that point to a destination marker or a friend. Ultimately, those are like SLURLs. What we need is more ways to work with SLURLs, such as right-click them and choose to make them into a beacon, or "look-at" it rather than teleport.

The proper term should probably be "lookat" rather than "zoom," since the latter has a more vague definition and "Look At" is a term used in settings, scriptings, and viewer code.
