Alt to Alt Linden Home Transfer as new Premium Plus Feature

This would allow a user with multiple premium plus alts to transfer a property owned by one of their alts to another of their alts, providing both alts are premium plus and they pay a transfer fee. Perhaps a fee of $50 USD.
This would make it possible to transfer a linden home from one user owned account to another account owned by the same user without risking losing it. The transfer fee would compensate LL for the cost of this transfer.

Thank you everyone for your comments.
I am afraid we are going to have to pass on this particular suggestion. However we are exploring other possible solutions.

Here is the forum thread discussing this proposal.
In the thread, Polenth Yue mentioned a capability that Patch spoke of when PP was introduced that would obviate the need for this function -- Let PP members directly claim available homes without having to submit a ticket. I believe that would be a much better solution.

I think fifty dollars is too much, that is 4 months reg premium to transfer a place. I like the idea, but on top of already paying multiple PP accounts, I think that is lot to pay. I do wish they would allow it at least once a year for all premium and premium plus holders, maybe once for reg premium and up to three strikes or something a year for PP holders.

I would love to be able to do this on a premium plus alt (to pick the plot I want) over to my lifetime premium, which is stuck there until (or if) I can ever upgrade to lifetime plus. I think $50 is asking a lot, though.

Yes, that is kinda what I was thinking of too... I have a parcel I love that is on a paid annual premium plus alt. I have a lifetime alt that I might like to transfer it to when the annual alt expires. I would be willing to pay a fee to do that. I was guessing $50 USD would probably be what it costs LL in terms of man-hour salary to do that ... but if they charged a lower fee, I certainly would not complain.

no, it will bring people in gaming the game .. I'll not vote for such perk unless it's only for yearly subscribers premium ánd premium plus ánd once during the subscription year.

That just gives people that can afford to pay for multiple alts for a month and then cancel them to get the best houses (we all know this is done) There is no reason to do this as you can set your alt up to have the same permissions as the owner. If you are running it why would it matter except for the name on the house. If you need to change something then just log in the account that owns the house.
Fay Moonchild
Kathlen Onyx Maybe some people have changes of circumstance and decide they can only keep one spot, so this would allow them to safely condense and not have to risk losing their fav spot?
Kathlen Onyx
Fay Moonchild Well, then they'd have to pick the one that owns the land to keep I guess. We all know this is not the reason why this idea was created. I agree with Alwin. It will just allow people to get the best spots because they can afford it. Keep it to chance. I wouldn't support this either.

This service should be free. Whether my alt owns or a home or I own it, it's still the same legal person paying money to Linden Lab for a service. Why must we be nickeled and dimed? Not many people will utilize this service. They should test this out and see if it becomes OVERWHELMING, then consider charging for the second or third time in a year or something.
Alwin Alcott
Gorgeous Aurelia you seem not to understand why LL speaks about accounts, and not accountholders or "legal persons" It's to avoid gaming the game.
Gorgeous Aurelia
Alwin Alcott You seem to be misunderstanding. it's a direct transfer from THE SAME PERSON to THE SAME PERSON. I think residents are too worried about something being 'gamed' when that's not the reality. I believe in good intentions and not immediately shut down a feature request because of unfounded paranoia.
Fay Moonchild
Alwin Alcott Wait what? Who is getting gamed? If you are paying sixty dollars for two premium plus accounts, and then a fifty-dollar fee just to transfer a house, that is over 100 bucks for "virtual" pretend real estate. If anyone is getting getting ahead here it's Linden Lab under this scenario! It's a personal choice though to pay, so I don't see how it's somehow someone getting "gamed" from any angle.
Kathlen Onyx
Gorgeous Aurelia So you pay for Premium for 1 month for 5 alts. You roll those until you get the best house. That's 30 rolls a day 5 alts plus your main. Then you transfer the house to your main and cancel the 5 alts that you paid Premium for. Don't you see how that's an issue?
Gorgeous Aurelia
Kathlen Onyx Please stay on topic. I'm not sure why you're making a hypothetical about me? LOL. This question is about transferring a home from one account to another, simply because YOU, a paying customer, desire that feature. Also I've been in the same house since 2020, so no, I fail to see the issue.
Kathlen Onyx
Sorry forgot to put "you" in quotes. The "you" is anyone.

that sounds good to me also
