I've had premium for many years on several avatars and premium plus. I think all this time, I've gone once. Now, prices for premium have been raised with the excuse of these gifts.
I think I've only gotten one or two in my entire time as premium, they were high land impact and not really useful to me, so I just don't bother. I'd rather pay less, or get or get more lindens instead of these gifts instead. They're not for me as a non-modern RPer nor are they for me as someone who plays exclusively male avatars and has no use for chick shit.
On top of that, I never remember to go get them.
So I would suggest, sending us a HUD whenever there's a new gift, and one in 15 days after it's released as a reminder, along with some in world message.
Allow people in the hud to select what they want. If they don't want any of it, give them some amount of Lindens so they can put it towards something they DO want. Maybe ask them why they chose lindens instead to gain valuable data on what groups in SL are underserved wtih these gifts.

I agree completely. The recent gifts have struck me as not worth the bother. I recall that years ago, one gift was a flyable airplane.
A HUD would be helpful in that it would simplify everything. It would also be lovely to be able to opt for some linds via the hud in lieu of a gift.

Basically it's the surplus in the Moles' resident businesses (items that turned out so bad that they could never sell them), so LL wanted to give "more value for more money", meaning "no more value plus some poorly made items for more money" and it's a promotion for LL's inner circle of "elite creators", so they thought they would all win if they did this.

I do agree with Zandrea Nove I've been a premium member for 19 years now and the price of going up this may be the last time i pay and i just might decrease to a plain ole log in log out member which i hate to do but the price is insane for what we get being a long time member. The gifts are high prim not a lot of what we would use unless you own a lot of land. and not a lot of things males they don't like cutesiest décor . I think either a little more lindens instead of gifts or how bout this....... we get a discount on a homestead if you have been paying for over 10 years. We know how many can fit on one server so it wouldnt be a bad thing.....

I don't mind a little trip to get gifts as long as they're easy to find and useful. There's been nothing on offer lately though that's useful, except perhaps plants or furniture, though the latter rarely suits my avatar. The option to not go on the trip is welcome. A Linden dollar alternative would be even better, and for that I'd happily go and get it by some easy but interesting way.

When they started wirh gifts in collaboration with Seraphim, there were some worthwhile gifts.
Now it's ridiculous. Absolutely worthless crap, just for promoting the participating vendors. I mean, under Seraphim we could get a fatpack skin, now we get a pair of shades.

I think this is a great idea. Especially the idea of receiving either additional L$ or a reduction in price by rejecting the gifts.
The Premium Plus gifts I've gone for - and I have gone to get them - are mostly not to my taste. More fashion I don't like and more makeup of any kind is of no interest to me. Give me some L$ instead and I will go and buy what I actually like and will use, which in turn supports those producers.
