Currently this is not the case. This should change. If the Lab cannot follow their own bot policy, why should anybody else?

Hi Toothless, thank you for voicing your concern on this and bringing it to our attention! We've taken immediate steps to ensure Linden Lab bots are correctly tagged as scripted agents and this oversight has been corrected. The eight bots online are restricted to Castaway Cove for testing and any new ones will be tagged properly.

Yes - my HUD does not show the bots at all. (Note that this is just a full region list showing there are
no
registered bots, this screenshot does not
implicate everyone listed as a bot) - normally my HUD shows bots as 🤖 BOT: not 🙂 HUMAN:It is normally not regarded as "cool" by the wider internet community to expect others to follow rules that you refuse to follow yourselves.
