Mole Marketplace store for their creations!

SL22B had some really cool Mole-made meshes around, things from trees to major set pieces which my RL Twin and I kept finding ourselves wishing we could buy those or something like it to create with and carry on the inspiration trains.
We reached out to Anctient Mole, creator of some of those awesome pieces we were geeking over, and we were informed that there wasn't such a store yet, but they have been hearing about the desire and every voice counts... so, my Twin and I thought to create this request.
Mole Made marketplace store concept
Ideally allowing them to offer their specially made creations to the public for reasonable/respectable L$ prices.
Ideally, the (Mole) creators would get most of the profit share, though I do imagine (since the creators were presumably paid for their work RL already) some if the L$'s would go toward a LL treasurer for Linden sponsored L$ giveaway events or hunts or whatever might be fun and agreeable as ways to give back to users and patrons alike.
Ideally all Mole Made creations would be in the same store, searchable by the usual title and keywords, maybe also the name of the Mole who did the creating.
THANK YOU to everyone who shares this with others to decide if they also would like to see a store for Mole made creations!
* Submitting this from my phone. Special shout to the attached pics of Mole Made examples. Massive gateway. Massive willow trees and massive (and other sized) pine trees. Cool magic electric swirly portal accent piece. Cool walkway with stellar electrical magical stringy accent pieces. Awesome particle path pieces. Light and or electric magic beam. Sci-fi walkways, balcony, and foundation pieces.
I am sure there were and are way more creations that could be showcased as examples but I think that's enough to make the request.

Hello, and thank you for your feature request regarding making the Content Creation Team's objects and builds available for Residents. This suggestion has been brought up in the past and will be set to tracked. We have no estimate when it may be implemented, but please keep an eye on future updates. We appreciate your input and encourage you to continue sharing your ideas to help improve Second Life.

Add the old Linden homes to Mole Mart or the LIbrary
Snowlord Resident
With the sunsetting to come of the old Linden homes, it would be fantastic if those could be added to our Library or even be available at Mole Mart for those who'd like to use them on private or mainland parcels. (Molemart might be simpler than adding library content of all the themes.) thanks for any consideration in this regard!

Mole Mart - Bellisseria Edition
Cutie Crush
The Linden Home regions come with a variety of assets, from plants and environmental decor, to textures and small accessories provided to Linden Home owners via their house-rezzer. Only the land owner of a given house type can access the provided assets for that style of Linden Home.
What is Mole Mart?
Once, long ago, a bold project was undertaken, to create a one-stop-shop for making it easier to find LDPW assets. In the early days, assets like road and land textures were shared with users via the Inventory “Library”, but as SL grew, so did the number of ‘system assets’. As the moles came to town, and started building, they laid out roads, sidewalks, hedges and pavements that residents in those new areas wanted to match up to.
From matching the road texture for a driveway ramp, to matching the lamp posts used all around the continent, SLRR tracks and signals, plants, roadsigns, and so on.
In those days, asset troves were hidden across the grid. A crate hidden in an abandonned dock house, some urns hidden in a building in Bay City, and so on. At one point, someone had the excellent idea to start pulling all of this content together into one location, and that was Mole Mart.
Bellisseria
Linden Homes, and the regions they exist within, include a lot of ‘new’ assets. From the various wall and floor textures you can get when you click the house rezzer, the lamps, tractors, haybales, string lights, and so on that are provided to ‘accessorize’ your Linden Home, to the trees and bushes and other standardized landscaping decor, roads, signs, chirping birds, rocks, trees, and environmental items that exist outside the LH parcels.
While some of these assets can be gotten of you own a particular Linden Home, you can only access the assets given by the home you have. Meaning that you have to abandon the Linden Home you may have fallen in love with, just to get a copy of assets from the other designs.
The Solution
Bellisseria is rife with empty ‘official buildings’.. Train stations, lodges, post offices boat houses, Pickle-on-a-stick, and so on. Converting one (or more) of these structures to a “Mole General Store” would seem an excellent use.
Within these store locations, could be vendors that offer various LDPW assets used within Bellisseria, as well as the aforementioned owner-locked Linden Home assets.
If it’s desired to continue to keep these LH assets a premium only feature, limiting their giving to Premium/Premium Plus clickers should be a trivial matter.

I know there was a separate post about this not long ago, but I would love to be able to get the original Linden homes too.

This is a wonderful idea. I very much hope it is implemented.

There is Mole Mart on Heterocera, though I don't think that the items you described are available there (I haven't visited in quite some time).
NejraTu Resident
Miro Collas I'm Remmy's RL twin and we did find that Mole Mart and you are correct, it does not include the sorts of things Remmy shows in the pictures. It wouldn't be a bad place to start though, I suppose. Could use some updating but folks would go if they could get or buy some of those awesome meshes! I would. (edited to correct typo)

This concept is wonderful. It does chap my backside that creations made by the artists are not just consigned for sale, as opposed to the explanation that... because they were employees they were already paid (paraphrasing). When they accepted employment, did they sign over the rights of anything created specifically for their assigned job? Maybe i'm just feeling a bit overprotective?
RemmyHun Resident
KemeSalali Resident, I dont mind admitting that i wrote it that way because i did assume they were already paid for their work as employees, and yes that the creations technically also belong to LL, not the individual creator-- though i could totally be wrong about that. I reckoned if they "owned" those specific creations, they would have come up with a store of some kind, to enjoy the extra revenue/L$'s.
One day more companies will keep creational ownership with the employees who do the creating, and until then, i appreciate efforts like this which may make it just that much more fun and rewarding to be creating such things.... and also for those of us who want to have some fun with the creations too. Lol
NejraTu Resident
KemeSalali Resident from a business standpoint, things are always nuanced to protect the business. I think SL could evolve beyond the "double-pay" mindset if they treated the L$ from a Mole Store as Royalties on said work SL paid them to do, which is normal in many creator corners. I also like Remmy's idea of a portion of those L$ going into a Mole Magic fund that the Moles might get to vote on how to reward and play with the greater SL community, with hunts or giveaways. Sounds fun to me! Could even be an added premium perk!

Excellent idea!
Lucifera Morningstar
I would disagree with this, unless some serious care was taken to eliminate the lag involved. These old homes were all prims, with physics shape set to Prim. The one I used to have was 117 prims, and it was a box that should have maybe taken up 1/10th of that if it had been mesh.
Snowlord Resident
Lucifera I don't believe the land impact would have anything to do with lag or the fact it's set to prim. high LI perhaps but no more than a few trees in the new homes. anyway it's a nostalgia option and the fantasy homes were and are still awesome imo.
Cutie Crush
On a somewhat related note, I'd still like to at least see the "props" and "textures" added to some user-claimable system (User Library, Mole-mart, Special Belli-Mart, item giver at the Belli sandbox, etc) that doesn't require someone to abandon their beloved Linden Home, just to get the 'hay bale' or whatever from another new design.
