Mosh South Mall Demolished???

The building that used to be in Mosh South, across the river from the Port of Kama City Mall in Mosh, has just disappeared today or yesterday. It is still on the world map, so it happened very recently.
This was a platform over the water which complemented the mall in Mosh. According to my research, it has been here and looked the same since July 2010, except for a few months following December 2010 when it was snowy and the water was frozen, so this was clearly an event region back then. The trees on the beach were removed when the region got snowed in, and when it was turned back into its normal state, the trees were never replaced. The building was here consistently for the last 16 years, though.
As you can see in one of my screenshots, the water used to come out this much where the map shows, but now it's way back toward the north end of the region. You can see more pictures at https://community.secondlife.com/forums/topic/535000-historic-building-disappearance-mosh-south-zindra/
Is there a project going on here to replace this building with something, or why was it suddenly removed, leaving this region empty and ruining the view from the other side?

After 16 years, even virtual architecture occasionally gets a change of scenery. For now, Mosh South is simply embracing its minimalist era.

The "Welcome to Zindra" building located in Mosh South was a piece of SL history for so many years. It's where it all started for the adult continent. It matched the Port of Kama City across the river perfectly, framed by those two bridges. Now the area just looks empty, with that really cool-looking old building wiped out. It's sad. Could it please return?
From a practical sense, there was also a loss. The Mosh South building featured a rez zone that was often used by sailors hoping to explore Zindra, and that is no longer there.
It would be good to have some answers about this subject. Are there any plans for the land in Mosh South?
In this regard, I would also like to add a plea:
Please do not remove or alter the Port of Kama City. That building has "port station" parcels within it that are owned and cherished by its residents. (!!!)
