Railroad switch broken on Pawpaw Wye
complete
AlettaMondragon Resident
Just noticed that the switch on the north end of the wye is dead. If you touch the switch or use the Branch or Main commands on channel 135, the lights and the switch stand change, but the guides in the switch stay the same, Guide on the main line and Alternate Guide on the branch. See photos below.
This way the north leg of the wye cannot be used from Maia to Lappet, and we have to roll down to the south end of the wye, set the switch, flip locomotive and ride back up to Lappet like we would without the wye.
The other two switches work correctly.
The fix here might be as easy as resetting the scripts in the Switch Stand object at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Pawpaw/157/201/121
The other weird thing here is that the Switch Controller, a large invisible object which you can find at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Pawpaw/154/221/123 is not linked to the Switch Stand. It is supposed to be linked to the switch stand so that if we click anywhere on this, we can set the switch. It makes operating the switch easier, even though it is not necessary. If you could relink it to the switch stand it would be appreciated.

Now Crumbi Junction Wye west side SLRR switches are broken as well

The switch in Pawpaw is still broken after more than 7 months ( https://feedback.secondlife.com/ldpw/p/railroad-switch-broken-on-pawpaw-wye ), but now the two switches in Tenera which are part of the Crumbi Junction wye don't switch the guides either, so this wye is completely unusable now. This is very recent, I used them a few weeks ago and they were working correctly at the time.

The situation is still the same as described in: https://feedback.secondlife.com/ldpw/p/railroad-switch-broken-on-pawpaw-wye

Given that I reported this on 10 December 2025 and it would take me 2 minutes to fix this switch, it is very disappointing that none of you could do it in more than 5 months.
There is also a support ticket for this, https://lindenlab.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/2443600 for which I only received a very negligent response.

Oatmeal Linden there's no customer support ticket for this. everything has to do with transactions through support tickets there's no category and no way to do it without selecting a category . Oatmeal Linden go and try and make a support ticket so what happens. i'm sick of this

nathkyo Resident The weird thing is that I did file the support ticket on this for them too, I think on 12 December, and I just got the blanket reply that they would do it when they get to it. Which means it is on a to-do list that doesn't exist. 1-minute fix not getting done for more than 2 months, no wonder bigger problems never get resolved.
