Under Sea Tunnel between Heterocera and Sansara

It'd be intresting to continue the dead end road at Hikuleo Region, all the way down to Cecropia somewhere, or another spot in Heterocera somewhere, where it would connect up to to the road network of Heterocera. Then we can seamlessly drive cars between those two continents.

It doesn't look like a tunnel could connect to the existing road network at the northern end without taking land from resident ownership. Likewise at the southern junction the land in Maroon is resident owned and the Linden owned strip along the eastern side of Purple is only 8m wide (much too narrow for the infrastructure required without significantly encroaching into the resident's land).
Unfortunately any way we look at it any tunnel we could build to connect the roads in the two continents at these points would require taking land from residents to make it feasible. Since that is something we are not going to do, I don't think a project such as this would be possible at this time.
We could revisit the idea should that ownership situation change, and if it does I would encourage re-submitting this idea for consideration.

It's an interesting idea and one I've though about. Some of the major factors that determine viability would be (in order of importance):
-Would any land have to be taken from residents to become a protected route and how much?
-Would new regions have to be added?
-Is the connection more or less a straight line point to point and how far is it?
-Are both end points currently a protected roadway?
-Would the tunnel entry/exit potentially block any protected Linden Waterways?
-How much of a rise and run would be necessary between the elevation of the road and the sea bed?
-Where would region crossings occur and are any region corners involved?

- The first one is the tricky one on the Cecropia side
- I don't think any new regions need to be added, besides if the first option needs it to get around people's lands, ideally i wouldn't want it to take away any resident ownable land.
- Connection is pretty straight, i can draw a line even
- Both end points would be in protected land, at Hikuelo and on Cecropia side it would have to connect straight into the road network
- Tunnel exit at Hikuelo is also pretty tricky, i think the road needs to continue its grade further down into the waterway, and go 20 meters down to the seabed, but i am not sure how much of the narrow canal there it would block.
- The elevation change should be around 20 to 30 meters or so at worst
- a couple corners might be involved too.
I'll have to have a field day with this for more precise measurements.
Attached an image of a supposed possibility.
The blue question mark area is open for discussion - How to get that part of the road to the already existing protected route marked in red, without adding any regions?
Addedum:
3 new pictures show that the road could indeed go down to the sea floor by maintaining it's descent, and an updated better route for the tunnel that does not affect anyone's private lands.
However it is going to take a portion of that water channel as it goes to the seabed. After that it is just going on the seabed not disturbing anything
