Good news this morning! We found a pair of issues which could trigger the black avatar textures bug we've been seeing with BOM and system avatars. The first was a backend error which only affected avatars that had never logged into the app before; which didn't show during testing, but of course, you all saw it. That's been fixed this morning, so if you've been seeing this problem - give it another try now.

The second issue will require a new build of the mobile app. We're doing some final testing before we submit to the app stores for an update. Expect to see new builds in a few days if the first fix hasn't helped.

We appreciate everyone who is taking the time to report errors to us - it really does help us as we go through this beta and head towards a wider release.

got that same issue myself i use the Mobil app on a galaxy flip 5 if that helps any also usually use it when the phone is unfolded into tablet mode
