[item] not found in database

I have two BoM items created by me that I was wearing. I replaced the "fabric" texture in one of them. The replacement did not happen, and suddenly I was unable to take the item off. Then the viewer began showing me messages that the item was not in the database. (In Inventory it was still in boldface.) I rebooted with no luck. Then I went to my Marketplace, where these items are included with dresses I sell. Got a delivery, opened the box, and got the same error messages again. (And they still are in boldface in Inventory.) Gone forever? Or maybe they'll be fine tomorrow?

Hi Dana, do you have a way to reproduce this form of asset loss on different objects?
If not, your asset loss incident may have been triggered some sort of temporary outage in the asset system. We can investigate what happened to your items, but need further details about the incident in order to investigate. Can you tell me (1) the exact time the failed update occurred and (2) the name of the region you were in?

Maestro Linden HI! I can tell you I was at home in Marebbe. I'm afraid I don't recall the time but it would have been shortly before whatever timestamp might be on my original post.
They did not magically return the next day. Fortunately, these were items I could recreate, so I made new ones, and put them in all the boxes, vendors and back up in Marketplace. The disappearance did NOT happen again; all is good.
SO no need for LL to try to find these for me! I mainly reported it in case there was something system-wide going on and my info would help you track it. If this was a one-off, feel free to close this out.

We haven't heard any other reports like this recently, so I suspect it was either a one-off loss incident or something that occurs very rarely. Unfortunately we need very precise details about the time of loss (down to the minute or so) in order to investigate. Please feel free to reopen this issue (or file a similar one) if you hit the loss again.
