RLV like bug that pulls my AVI across SIMs to random points

I am not clear what exact category i should assign this. For the last two to two and half days i have been having my AVI spontaneously pulled across random SIMs...as if there was an RLV/leash attached. Initially it looked like it was a bed on one SIM but its happened on 3 separate SIM's now.
I have revoked animations, Turned off RLV and relogged, Cleared my Cache and relogged, and it continues to happen on the original SIM. I was visiting an event SIM and while wandering through the shopping stalls i was suddenly pulled through a wall and hovering in the "FreeFall" pose. I went to a in world store SIM and when i got to a certain spot i was flung outside the skybox and stuck in "freefall" pose. I have stopped at other SIM's between these 3 places.
I have also noted a sense of resistance when i try to walk, no matter what SIM i am on., as well as whenever i go up or down stairs, cross a bridge, or walk up or down a hill my AVI slips into the freefall pose. There is also extra motion during idle standing , even with AO off. As though my AVI is attempting to walk.

my first guess is that it might be something you are wearing. Have you tried removing everything you are wearing? (including HUDs, mesh body, etc). Then put on some different clothes than u were wearing, and see if the effect persists?
If the effect persists, my next guess would be to check how many packets you are dropping.

I am wondering if this is related to avis hovering at login. For about a month I have been hovering at the moment login. Every time. It it quite frustrating. Have you tried a clean install?

The hover-on-login bug has been fixed in code and is waiting to be deployed in a server update. Based on how that bug was introduced and fixed I do not believe it is related to this one.
